Every jeanne baret coloring page in this collection is a free printable line drawing - original character line drawings (we never publish licensed or trademarked art) on a clean white background, with no grey and no shading to muddy the outlines. We draw them to be coloured, so each shape is a closed area you can fill without the colour running across a line.
The difference is in the file. Most "printable" pages online are just compressed photos of line art - zoom in and the black lines are a soft grey mush. Ours are true 1-bit vector-traced files rendered at a real 300 DPI, sized precisely for US Letter and A4, so the lines stay crisp whether you print one sheet or a class set.
To get the best result, open the page you want, download the US Letter or A4 PDF, and print at 100% or "Actual size" rather than "Fit to page". Colour with pencils, crayons or markers - each page recommends what suits it based on its measured line weight and the narrowest gap between its lines. Every page here is free for personal and classroom use.
